Mike Cloy Is the Gladiators Head Football Coach and Offensive Line Coach. Coach Cloy has over 40 years of experience in Education and in Coaching, 19 years as an assistant and this will be his 20th year as a Head Coach. His overall record as Head Coach is 107-90-1.
Coach Cloy was Head Coach at Alpharetta High School and at Centennial High School prior to coming to Johns Creek as the Gladiators first football coach. Cloy coached at Chattahoochee for 4 years and Norcross for 2 years. From 1975-1991, Coach Cloy coached at North Springs High School where he was Assistant Coach from 1975-1980 then becoming Head Coach there until 1991. His first job coaching was as an Assistant Coach at Westwood High School from 1971-1975.
Coach Mike Cloy is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. Later he attended Georgia State University where he received his Masters in Administration and his Masters in Social Studies.
Mike is married to his lovely wife, Linda and they have two sons: Brian (36) and Gavin (33).
