Graduated from Milton High School, received B.S.Ed., M.Ed, Ed.S. from the University of Georgia. Teacher and Coach at North Springs HS from 1967-1979. Assistant Principal at Crestwood HS from 1979-1984. Executive Director for Facilities for Fulton County Schools from 1985-1997. Offensive Coordinator at Centennial HS from 2001-2004.
Elected to the Alpharetta City Council from 1983-2002. Elected Mayor of Alpharetta from 2002 to present.
Steve Hall
Varsity Defensive Coordinator/ Defensive Line Coach
Steve attended Samford University and played defensive tackle for Head Coach Terry Bowden where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education. Steve also coached at Centennial HS from 1999-2008 with Head Coach Mike Cloy. Additionally, Mr. Hall coached at Alpharetta HS from 2004-2009 with Head Coach Bill Waters.
Presently, Steve is the Defensive Coordinator at Johns Creek High School. Steve also has a son Cole, 6.
Bill Waters
Varsity Offensive Backs Coach / Linebackers Coach
Coach Bill Waters joins Johns Creek High School from Alpharetta HS where he was Head Football Coach there from 2004-2008. Bill will also be teaching History at JCHS.
Prior to that position, Bill was Head Football Coach Chattahoochee HS from 1993-2003. Additionally, he was Assistant Football Coach Chattahoochee HS in 1992 and Assistant Football Coach Marietta HS 1991. Other appointments include:

Luke Warren
Varsity Defensive Backs Coach/ Receivers Coach
Luke Warren is the Defensive Backs/ Receivers Coach, Baseball Head Coach and teaches Health and Physical Education at Johns Creek High School.
Luke graduated from Hart HS in Newhall, California. He later attended College of the Canyons J.C. in Valencia, California. Coach Warren played 4 years of baseball with Georgia State University and graduated. Additionally, Luke coached Varsity Football for 7 years and Varsity Baseball for 5 years at Centennial HS. At Milton HS, Luke coached 3 years and at Alpharetta HS he coached for 1 year. Mr. Warren is single without children.
David Burton
Coach Burton attended Tucker High School graduating in 1992. He attended Charleston Southern and Kennesaw State University. He played football, baseball and wrestled High School. He has coached football, wrestling and baseball at Chattahoochee High School and football and wrestling at Alpharetta High School.
Coach Burton lives in Woodstock and is single.
