Coach Buzeta graduated from Milton High School and received his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University. Mauricio later received his Masters degree from the University of Alabama.
Coach Buzeta went on to coach football at Milton HS and Centennial HS. Currently, he teaches Health and Physical Education at Autrey Mill Middle School. Married to his wife Tara, they have two children Peyton (2) and Camden (10 mos).
Chuck Mertes
JV Linebackers and Offensive Line
Coach Mertes graduated for the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Physical Education and Health. He is currently teaching at Autrey Mill Middle School.
Coach Mertes is married to Lynn and has two sons Holden and Taylor.
Adam Gillis
JV QB’s, RB and DL/Offensive Coordinator
Adam Gillis is in his second season on the Gladiator’s coaching staff. Coach Gillis has 11 years of coaching experience including coaching for his alma mater Parkview High School. In addition to football, Coach Gillis works through the IRR Department at Johns Creek teaching American Government, US History and Economics.
Coach Gillis is a 2000 graduate from Liberty University where he played football while earning a BS in Social Sciences and received an add-on degree in Special Education. Coach Gillis is currently working on his MED in Special Education.
Coach Gillis is married to Beth Gillis who is the Testing Coordinator at Salem High School and has one daughter Braelyn who is 2.
Holden Mertes

Coach Mertes graduated from Dacula High Schol. He is currently enrolled at Georgia Gwinnett College.
